Travel Back To When A 12" Was Divine & A Cock Was Revolting

You are cordially invited to join us this Monday at 21.00 BST for a special edition of The Christopher Laird Show. Christopher will be revisiting one of the most noteworthy indie labels and record shops of the past 30 years – Chicago’s Wax Trax! Records, founded by Dannie Flesher and Jim Nash. His special guest will be Julia Nash, former Wax Trax! employee and daughter of Wax Trax! co-founder Jim Nash. So join us Monday for the first part of an amazing two-part look back at a label that became the epicentre of the industrial-dance music explosion of the mid- to late-1980s and a shop that became one of Midwest America’s premier sources for post-punk and electronic music, as well as emerging underground artists from around Europe and the UK.
